Eyewear Born from a 'Fusion of Mastery'

Reflecting the elegance of deep, glossy black lacquer from traditional Japanese crafts, this color conveys timeless sophistication.

Inspired by the vibrant color expressions found in Ukiyo-e, our frame colors evoke the essence of Japan's four seasons and traditional customs. The bold contours characteristic of Ukiyo-e are reflected in the design of the beveled cuts spanning the entire frame.

This frame, infused with the essence of traditional art and Japan's unique color aesthetics, showcases JINS' design prowess. It is meticulously crafted in Sabae, a region renowned for its eyewear production, where different artisans specialize in each stage of the process—cutting, shaping, and polishing. Just as Ukiyo-e is created through the collective skills of multiple artisans, this piece embodies a 'Fusion of Mastery,' bringing together the expertise of many to create a singular work of art.

Perfect, surpassed all expectations

"Let me start off by saying that I am somewhat of a eyeglasses expert, as they are not for fashion for me, but rather medical devices. I say that to say, I will not buy a pair of frames without doing tons of research. I will not wear acetate frames unless they come from Japan, Germany, Italy, or France. . . with these frames costing between $450 - $600. 00. So, you can imagine my skepticism. Once they arrived, the presentation was fantastic, I took them out of the case and the acetate was sturdy and very well constructed (for both the air frame acetate and the ones that were completely manufactured in Japan, the quality for both is excellent, so aesthetically, they are 10/10. Next, I tried them on, they fit PERFECTLY and the virtual try-on is almost perfectly accurate. In fact, it seems like the virtual try-on tool considers any possible deviations. In other words, they fit and looked BETTER than the virtual try-on would lead you to believe. So, from my personal experience, the virtual try-on is a TRUSTED rule of thumb. These frames are perfect for those of us with a "flat" bridge. I bought two pairs, one with adjustable nose pads and one without. They both fit my bridge perfectly. I cannot recommend these frames enough. Another bonus is the price. So, with the monopoly of companies like Luxottica, over-priced in relation to quality and niche brands like Barton Perreira, Dita, Matsuda etc. that offer excellent quality, but are over-priced…. $500. 00 and up, J!ns offers a superior product, just as good as the niche brands (in my opinion) and better than the Luxottica brands, but at a fraction of the costs of the niche brands, which is why I gambled and brought two pairs, I could afford to take the risk. I have only one negative and it has nothing to do with the frames or the service, that is the delivery time. So, I ordered mine with no prescription and I expected to wait around two weeks. It actually took just over a month to have them both in hand. That is a long time, especially when you depend on your glasses. When you chat with the employees on-line, they are as helpful as they can be and professional, but there is nothing they can do in delivery time and the company policy is to not ship them from stores domestically. This time lag was frustrating, but with the current political climate of tariffs on tariffs off and a monsoon in Asia, I do not want to give fault to the company. It was VERY frustrating though. I bought another temporary pair in the interim, as I waited for my frames. Unfortunately, the quality is SSSOOO GOOD on the J!NS frames, the wait is worth it. In the future, to navigate this, I may buy a couple of duplicate pairs, now that I can afford to wait, to offset this in the future or I may plan a family vacation to the Bay area, California or Southern California and while I am there just get my frames from the flagship store. I say this, because there is not much they can do during the wait and the information they can provide you is somewhat limited. In spite of all this, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND J!NS. I hope someone finds this helpful. 10/10 for J!NS."

Worth the wait

"Was needing new glasses for years. Tested a lot of pairs but came across these by Jin’s. And they were well worth the wait."
