Dick Bruna: Born in 1927 in Utrecht, Netherlands. A globally renowned picture book author and graphic designer. His warm hand-drawn lines, vibrant colors, and simple yet bold compositions appeal to the imagination of viewers, loved by children and adults worldwide. Over a creative career spanning approximately 60 years, he has published more than 120 picture books. Translated into over 50 languages worldwide, his works have sold over 85 million copies, becoming long-selling classics. In Japan, over 50 million copies of his picture books have been published since "Little Bunny" in 1964 (published by Fukuinkan Shoten), making him a beloved author of children's first encounters with picture books.
